Exploring Papua with Samuel Fenichel.

In 1891, at the age of 23, my greatgrandfather's brother went on a jorney to explore Papua. After a few years of gathering natural life and anthropological samples he died of malaria fever.

My collection combines 19th century explorers' clothing  with the Papuan ornamental habits and a perspective of the female clothing of today.
